Bucknell University, Lewisburg PA

• Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2017-18 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition. Honorees from Simsbury are Emma Alfeld and Patrick Long.

Colby-Sawyer College, New London NH

• Colby-Sawyer College has named Kathleen Tremblay to the Dean's List for academic achievement. Tremblay, of Simsbury, majors in creative writing and is a member of the class of 2019. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours in graded courses.

Curry College, Milton MA

• Curry College is proud to announce that Eileen Hoffman of Simsbury has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a 3.30 GPA, have no incompletes, and have no grade lower than a "C" for the semester.

Stonehill College, Easton MA

• Jennifer Kornacki, a member of the Class of 2020 from Simsbury, has been named to the fall 2017 Dean's List at Stonehill College. Kornacki is majoring in Accounting and is a graduate of Simsbury High School. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.
