Clemson University, Clemson SC
- Timothy J. Mango of Simsbury graduated Cum Laude from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. Mango was among more than 1,400 students who received degrees at winter graduation ceremonies at Littlejohn Coliseum.

- Austin Arakelian, of Weatogue, majoring in exercise and sport science, was among 2,419 students at Coastal Carolina University who made the fall semester 2017 Dean's List. To qualify for the Dean's List, freshmen must earn a 3.25 grade point average, and upperclassmen must earn a 3.5 grade point average. All students must be enrolled full time.
Emmanuel College, Boston MA
- Anders Flater of Weatogue was recently named to Emmanuel College's Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.
Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

- A half-dozen students from Simsbury have been named to the fall 2017 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester. Local honorees are Karissa Ekwall, Amy Franklin, Jane Henrich, Megan Livingston, Kelsey Novy and Colette Zuliani.
University of Vermont, Burlington VT
- Four students from Simsbury have been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester: Annabelle Iler, Kelly McAlpine, Madison Panyard and Lydia Swain. To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
