Ithaca College, Ithaca NY

• Ithaca College congratulates a pair of Simsbury students named to the Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. Rachel Baumann and Brian Hanshaw, both Theatre Studies majors, were named to the Dean's List in the School of Humanities and Sciences.

Miami University, Oxford OH

• Josh Prell was named to the dean's list at Miami University for the 2017 fall semester. Prell, from West Simsbury, is earning a B.S. in Business majoring in Finance. Miami University students who are ranked in the top twenty percent of undergraduate students within their division for first semester 2017-2018 have been named to the dean's list recognizing academic performance.

Muhlenberg College, Allentown PA

• Olivia Schwager of Simsbury was named to the Dean's List at Muhlenberg College for the fall 2017 semester. Students with a term GPA of 3.50 or higher were recognized for this academic achievement.

Nichols College, Dudley MA

• Eliza Phillips, a Sport Management major from Simsbury, has achieved Dean's High Honors for the fall 2017 semester at Nichols College in Dudley, Mass. The Nichols College Dean's List recognizes students who have achieved high grades during a single semester. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.2 for at least 12 credit-hours and receive no grade below a C+ during the semester. A student who earns a grade point average of 3.6 or higher is awarded Dean's High Honors.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

• Springfield College has named three students from Simsbury to the dean's list for academic excellence for the fall 2017 term: Damian Mackay-Morgan, Luke Salls and Kyle Zall. Criteria for selection to the dean's list requires that the student must have a minimum semester grade point average of 3.500 for the semester.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• The University of Hartford is pleased to announce the following students from Simsbury have been named to the Dean's List for fall 2017: Parker Eldridge, Masami Fukawa, Sean Kearns, Katherine Larsen, Coleman Lubinsky, Kelly Mercey, Nancy Meyer, Emma Moran, Lindsay Nelson, Kathleen O'Hara, Gabrielle Raulinaitis, Nicholas Rylands, Sarah Sparkowski, Meaghan Talbot, Emma Taylor and Kristin Weiss.
