SIMSBURY, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Asnuntuck Community College, Enfield CT

• Asnuntuck Community College has announced that Chad Hebert and Ada Shetler, both of Simsbury, have achieved Dean’s List status following their spring semester of studies. Full-time students who are matriculated in a certificate or degree program and who have successfully completed 12 or more credits of work in a semester with a grade point average of 3.4 or above are named to the list. Part-time students who are matriculated in a certificate or degree program are also eligible for such recognition when they have completed 12 or more credits of work with a grade point average of 3.4.

Clarkson University, Potsdam NY

• Two students from West Simsbury have been named Presidential Scholars for the spring 2018 semester at Clarkson University. Presidential Scholars must achieve a minimum 3.80 grade-point average and carry at least 14 credit hours. Mackenzie Centrella is a sophomore majoring in global supply chain management, and Juliet Clarkson is a senior majoring in biology.

Siena College, Loudonville NY

• Julia Fleming of Simsbury has been named to the Siena College Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, a student's grade point average for the semester must be between 3.5 and 3.89.
