Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta GA

• Matthew Krajewski of Simsbury earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for fall 2017 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have a 4.0 academic average for the semester.

Gettysburg College, Gettysburg PA

• Gettysburg College students with a quality point average in the range of 3.300 to 3.599 for a semester's work are placed on the Deans' Commendation List. Two students from Simsbury have been placed on the fall 2017 list: Callie-Marie Boogaert, Class of 2021, and Nicole Heller, Class of 2020.

Purchase College - SUNY, Purchase NY

• Abigail Lang of Simsbury has been named to Purchase College's Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. She is studying Film, Language and Culture. To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 for Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science programs and 3.75 for Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Music Performance programs. They must take a minimum of 12 credits.
