Clemson University, Clemson SC
- Julie M. Longfritz of Weatogue has been named to the President's List at Clemson University for the spring 2018 semester. Longfritz is majoring in Economics. To be named to the President's List, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.
- Three Simsbury residents have been named to the Dean's List at Clemson University for the spring 2018 semester. They are Annie Mckay Deliso, who is majoring in Health Science; Jennifer L. Falkner, who is majoring in Pre-Business; and Griffin Edward Myslow, who is majoring in General Engineering. To be named to the Dean's List, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

- Mackenzie Hine of Simsbury was named to the Merrimack College Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester.

- Olivia Schwager of Simsbury was named to the Dean's List at Muhlenberg College for the spring 2018 semester. Students with a term GPA of 3.50 or higher were recognized for this academic achievement.
Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY
- Bryan Healy of West Simsbury graduated from RIT with a BS in computer engineering. RIT conferred 4,747 degrees this academic year at all its campuses-including in Croatia, Dubai, Kosovo and China. The university held its 133rd annual commencement celebration in May.
- Five students from Simsbury have made the Dean's List at RIT for the spring 2018 semester. They are
Rowan Ogilvie, who is in the bioinformatics program; Bryan Healy, who is in the computer engineering program; Leslie Fisher, who is in the dietetics and nutrition program; Nathan Palmer, who is in the mechanical engineering program; and Dan Schenk, who is in the mechanical engineering program. Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Rochester Institute of Technology's Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.
University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa AL
- A total of 11,347 students enrolled during the 2018 spring semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). Students from Simsbury named to these lists include Kelsey Elise Noble, Dean's List; Justin W. Whitehouse, Dean's List; Peter Raymond Williams, Dean's List; Megan Anne Goodwin, Dean's List; and Sean McKay Foster, President's List.
University of Scranton, Scranton PA
- Timothy J. Cody of Weatogue was among students added to The University of Scranton Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester after publication of the list in January of 2018. The Dean's List recognizes students for academic excellence during the 2017 fall semester. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours to make the Dean's List. Cody is a freshman biology major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences.
