• Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.6 or higher while completing at least three courses for a conventional letter grade during the spring 2018 semester earn the Dean's Award with Distinction. Meredith Starrett of Simsbury is a graduate of Simsbury High School and a member of the Colgate Class of 2020. Starrett's current major is Economics. Molly Brian of West Simsbury is a graduate of Simsbury High School and a member of the Colgate Class of 2021. Brian's current major is Undeclared.
• Students who received a term grade point average of 3.3 or higher while completing at least three courses for a conventional letter grade earned the spring 2018 Dean's Award for Academic Excellence.
  Lisa Heller of Simsbury is a graduate of Simsbury High School and a member of the Colgate Class of 2018. Heller's current major is Psychology. Jolene Patrina of West Simsbury is a graduate of Westminster School and a member of the Colgate Class of 2019. Patrina's current major is History.

Tunxis Community College, Farmington CT

• Tunxis Community College has announced the names of those students from Simsbury who have qualified for the Dean’s List for the spring 2018 semester. Students matriculated in a certificate or degree program who have earned a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher and have successfully completed 12 or more credits, or have earned 12 credits cumulatively over multiple semesters, are eligible for this academic honor. Simsbury honorees are: Erich Boecklin, Jaime Camacho, Tyler Disabella, Tyler Forzono, Alison Gentile, Cedar Hewes, Casey Noller and Alex Rybczyk.
