SIMSBURY, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Slippery Rock University, Slippery Rock PA

• Slippery Rock University has announced its dean's list for the fall 2018 semester, including Alexa Guglielmino of Simsbury. The dean's list consists of SRU undergraduate students who earned an adjusted semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, based on a schedule of at least 12 newly attempted and earned credits.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

• The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that more than 5,500 undergraduates have qualified for the fall 2018 Dean's List. To be included on the Dean's List, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average. Students from Simsbury are Joe Connors, Casey Croft, Jake Dowd, Brenna Kelly, Jon Laiuppa, Heather Mudano, Jessica Ouellette, Tyrus Perdue and Emily Sacala.
