Colgate University, Hamilton NY

• Jolene Patrina, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2019, has earned the spring 2019 Dean's Award with Distinction. Patrina is a graduate of Westminster School, and is from West Simsbury. Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.6 or higher while completing at least three courses during the spring 2019 semester earn the Dean's Award with Distinction.
• Molly Brian, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2021, has earned the spring 2019 Dean's Award for Academic Excellence. Brian is from West Simsbury, and is a graduate of Simsbury High School. Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.3 or higher while completing at least three courses earn the spring 2019 Dean's Award for Academic Excellence.

Lasell University, Newton MA

• Lasell University posted its first victory of the campaign with a 3-1 triumph over Curry College in non-conference men's soccer action Tuesday at Taylor Field. Junior Simon Nigro of Simsbury scored a goal for the Lasers as they upped their record to 1-6 on the season.
