On Campus - Simsbury College Students

SIMSBURY, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Belmont University, Nashville TN

• A pair of students from Simsbury achieved the Dean's List at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee for the spring 2018 semester. The honorees are Lauren Law and Michael Rooney. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C. Approximately 30 percent of Belmont's 8,080 students qualified for the spring 2018 Dean's List.

Colby-Sawyer College, New London NH

• Colby-Sawyer has named Kathleen Tremblay of Simsbury to the Dean's List for spring 2018. Tremblay, who majors in creative writing , is a member of the class of 2019. To qualify for the Dean's List students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours in graded courses.
