Celebration Luncheon for Simsbury Public Library Staff

On Thursday, December 12th, the Friends of the Simsbury Public Library, FSPL, hosted their annual luncheon in appreciation of the Library Staff and for their dedication throughout the year.

Library staff offer a welcoming face to their patrons with informational inquiries offering suggestions for pertinent materials while other staff members organize a multitude of library materials behind the scenes. Many of the rich and diverse programs are developed by the staff who are dedicated in providing lifelong learning and social opportunities for their community. Courses in information technology and maker space technology are developed and offered to expand patrons knowledge.

The Simsbury Library has been recognized for its continued excellence, but without its staff, under the direction of Lisa Miceli, it would be just a beautiful building full of books. The staff makes it a community gathering place, which strives to enhance the lives of all Simsbury residents.
