Classical Music in the Afternoon: Springtime Concert - Isn't it Romantic?
Start springtime early with a beautiful concert of the classical music of Brahms, Clara Schumann and Arensky from 5 award winning musicians.

Join Louise Fauteux on vocals and Monica Jakuc Leverett on piano as they present ‘Isn’t it Romantic?’, songs from the Magelone Lieder by Brahms and the Romance Opus 5, no.3 by Clara Schumann. Following their presentation, enjoy Katalin Viszmeg on violin, Susan Robison on cello, and Tamila Azadaliyeva on piano as they play Arensky Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor - Allegro moderato, Scherzo-Allegro molto, Elegia-Adagio, and Finale-Allegro non troppo. Ms. Fauteux, Viszmeg, Robison and Azadaliyeva are award-winning musicians associated with the Hartt School Community Division. Monica Jakuc Leverett is Elsie Irwin Sweeney Professor Emerita of Music at Smith College.
