The Cobb School to Host Annual Auction and Art Show

The Cobb School, Montessori in Simsbury will host its Annual “Bids and Blooms Auction and Art Show” at the Cobb School Saturday, May 6 from 6-10pm.

The school holds this event annually to support its activities. Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a Cobb School education. Along with monies raised through the school’s Annual Fund, the auction event enables the school to fulfill its mission by continuing with programs such as the Opera and Circus Smirkus residency, investing in professional development for teachers, and by offering financial aid to qualifying families.

Families and friends of the school have the opportunity to participate in an online auction, which proceeds the live and silent event. On Saturday, May 6th at 6:00 pm, the community gathers for the opening night of our student art show and a night of raffles, silent bidding and live auction. Items available online and at the event include unique experiences with our faculty and staff, golf outings, vacation homes, goods and services from local businesses, student created works of art and more!
