Cobb School Invites the Community to Its Annual Country Fair

Cobb School Montessori in Simsbury invites the public to its Annual Country Fair on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Families are welcome to enjoy an afternoon of live music, crafts, games, face painting, and more.

Admission is free. Children can purchase individual tickets or an all-access pass to take part in activities at the booths, including:

• Rock painting
• Wand making
• Pumpkin painting
• Bean mosaics
• Mini Hay Maze
• Orange Pomanders
• Twig Boat Making and Races

Guests can also visit the petting zoo, sample entries in the chili contest, and enjoy dinner from a Mexican food truck. Apple cider donuts, apple cider, and homemade baked goods will be available for purchase.

The Country Fair is designed in the Montessori spirit, with natural materials and a wide variety of activities to choose from. Every experience is child-centered and child-led, so young visitors can explore at their own pace and follow their own interests.
