Cobb School Montessori Celebrates Annual Mystery History Event

Cobb School Montessori, in Simsbury, CT, is excited to announce the return of its beloved annual Mystery History event. This long-standing tradition in the elementary program encourages students to dive into the world of historical figures and their significant contributions to society.

Over the past few weeks, our Elementary students have engaged in extensive research to select a historical figure and prepare to present their findings to their peers. On Thursday, Oct 31, students arrived in creative historical costumes, ready to share intriguing facts about their chosen individuals while their classmates guessed who they might be as part of a wax museum.

In addition to showcasing their projects, students paraded through the primary classrooms, sharing their experiences with younger children and inspiring the next generation of learners.
Mystery History fosters a love for learning and promotes critical thinking and the application of various skills. As students research, take notes, write biographies, and engage in creative endeavors, they develop a project they are proud to share with the community.
