College Accomplishments By Simsbury Students

SIMSBURY, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Clarkson University, Potsdam NY

• A pair of students from Simsbury have been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester at Clarkson University. They are Mackenzie Centrella, majoring in global supply chain management, and Riley Griffiths, majoring in aeronautical engineering. Dean's List students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours.

Tunxis Community College, Farmington CT

• Tunxis Community College in Farmington has announced seven Simsbury residents qualified for the Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester. They are Matthew Allen, Tess Crystal, Tyler Forzono, Alison Gentile, Cedar Hewes, Ryan Khoshneviss and Sabryna Sarkizi. Students matriculated in a certificate or degree program who have earned a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher and have successfully completed 12 or more credits, or have earned 12 credits cumulatively over multiple semesters, are eligible for this academic honor.
