College Accomplishments By Simsbury Students

SIMSBURY, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Clemson University, Clemson SC

• Timothy J. Mango of Simsbury graduated from Clemson University with a Master of Science in Applied Economics and Statistics. Mango was among 3,600 students who received degrees at the May 9-10 ceremonies at Littlejohn Coliseum.

University of New Hampshire, Durham NH

• Maggie Grigely of Simsbury graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of New Hampshire in May 2019. He/she earned a BS degree in BusAdm:Finance. Students who received the honor of Magna Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.65-3.84.

University of Vermont, Burlington VT

• Four students from Simsbury were named to the dean's list at the University of Vermont for the spring 2019 semester. They are Annabelle Iler, Katelyn Paddock, Madison Panyard and Lia Ricciuti. To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
