Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT
- More than 200 Eastern Connecticut State University students of African, Latino, Asian and Native American (ALANA) descent were honored on May 9 at the 2019 Inclusive Excellence Awards. All students who were honored achieved an overall GPA of at least 3.5. An additional 11 students were recognized for demonstrating exemplary co-curricular engagement at Eastern.
Among the honored was Olivia Rovalino of Simsbury, who majors in Health Sciences. Rovalino was presented with an Academic Excellence Award.

- Ithaca College congratulates two Simsburyl students named to the Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester. They are Rachel Baumann, a Theatre Studies and Accounting major, and Brian Hanshaw, a Theatre Studies major.

University of Delaware, Newark DE
- Three students from Simsbury have been named to the University of Delaware's Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester. They are Haley Carr, David Kratzer and Ellen Schenk. To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean's List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.
