Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• The women's soccer team at Eastern Connecticut State University recently began its fall 2019 season, with eight new players and 18 returning players. Among the student athletes on this year's team is number 12, Olivia Rovalino of Simsbury, who majors in Pre-Elementary Education and Mathematics. This is Rovalino's second year playing as an Eastern Warrior. Her position on the field is midfield. Some of Rovalino's soccer career highlights include being named a LEC Rookie of the Week in 2018, appearing in 18 games - 10 of which she started - and averaging 67 minutes per game.

Fairfield University, Fairfield CT

• Freshman Alexander Pringle of Simsbury is a member of the Stags' men's rowing team this fall. He is a graduate of Northwest Catholic High School.

Quinnipiac University, Hamden CT

• Freshman Bianca Ceolin of Simsbury is on the women's rugby roster this fall at Quinnipiac. She is a graduate of Simsbury High School.
