Bates College, Lewiston ME
- Claire Sickinger, of Simsbury, graduated after majoring in dance and environmental studies at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. Sickinger, the child of Mr. William T. and Dr. Pamela H. Sickinger, is a 2015 graduate of Simsbury High School.

- Joanna Honc of Weatogue has been named to the Champlain College President's List for the spring 2019 semester. Students on the President's List have achieved a grade point average of 4.0 or higher during the semester.
- The following students from Simsbury have been named to the Champlain College Dean's List for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in the spring 2019 semester: Nicolas Alibrio, majoring in Game Production Management; Evan Barker, majoring in Game Design; Matthew Burton, majoring in Law; and Stephen Hill, majoring in Game Programming.
Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY
- Rochester Institute of Technology conferred some 4,200 degrees this academic year at all its campuses--including in Croatia, Dubai, Kosovo and China. The university held its 134th annual commencement celebration in May. Timothy Preskenis of West Simsbury received a BS in biomedical engineering, and Nicholas Zonenberg of West Simsbury received a BS in game design and development.
Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA

- Five Simsbury residents were among 1,598 students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the spring 2019 semester: Caleb Ralphs, a member of the class of 2020 majoring in computer science; Harrison Saperstein, a member of the class of 2020 majoring in robotics engineering; James Witt, a member of the class of 2021 majoring in computer science; Patricia Smith, a member of the class of 2021 majoring in mechanical engineering; and Kaitlyn Fichtner, a member of the class of 2022 majoring in robotics engineering, and electrical and computer engineering. The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differs from most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A-level in courses and projects.
