The Day After: Everything in Simsbury Is Closed

SIMSBURY, CT — In addition to public schools, all Town of Simsbury facilities are closed on Monday due to Sunday's snowstorm.

These include Simsbury Town Hall, the Simsbury Public Library, and all other municipal facilities.

Simsbury First Selectman Wendy Mackstutis said the Simsbury Board of Selectmen meeting scheduled for today is cancelled.

"There will be no Zoom or hybrid meeting tomorrow, as there was no link on the agenda to avoid any potential power outage or technical issues," she wrote on social media.

She said the current plan is to use the scheduled meeting on Feb. 9 to avoid conflicts with other boards and commission meetings.
