Police had issued a Silver Alert for the 80-year-old man, who was reported missing Wednesday.
SIMSBURY, CT — Police have canceled a Silver Alert issued Wednesday for an elderly man reported missing from Simsbury.
The alert for Joseph Hallifax, 80, was canceled Thursday morning, as police deemed the case resolved.

SIMSBURY, CT — Police have issued a Silver Alert for an elderly man reported missing Wednesday from Simsbury.
Joseph Hallifax, 80, is described as a white man, standing 5-foot-11, weighing 220 lbs., with white hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt and tan shorts.

He may possibly be driving a tan 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis, bearing Connecticut registration plate CTRH.
