Enjoy 'Touch-A-Truck' With The Family In Simsbury Saturday

SIMSBURY, CT — Families looking for something fun and inexpensive to do this Father's Day weekend should come over to the Simsbury Farms Rink on Saturday morning, June 15.

From 8 to 11 a.m., the Town of Simsbury Culture, Parks & Recreation Department is hosting a free touch-a-truck event where children will be able to explore a litany of massive town vehicles.

Expected to be on display are local fire, police, and public works vehicles and equipment, all in a festive and fun atmosphere.

Even better, the event is free and no registration is required. Just show up.

In addition to the vehicles, however, the program will feature face painting, a bounce house and a "balloon twister."

Meanwhile, there will be free doughnuts, juice, and coffee while supplies last.

It all takes place in the parking lot of the Simsbury Farms Ice Rink, rain or shine, at 100 Old Farms Road, Simsbury.
