Grammy-Nominated Singer/Songwriter, Philanthropist, Noted Author and Daughter/Caregiver of Parents Who Had Alzheimer’s disease, Karen Taylor-Good will be performing in celebration of McLean’s new Atwater Memory Care Assisted Living Neighborhood and to celebrate dedicated caregivers.
McLean is sponsoring the special concert which also includes a presentation, called Nurturing the Nurturers. Because they are so busy and dedicated, caregivers tend to neglect themselves, as they nurture others. Karen will demonstrate that the care giver must “put their own oxygen mask on first” if they are to successfully care for others.
