An Afternoon Music Program Performed by Candidates in the Boston University Doctor of Musical Arts Degree Program

Boston University Musical Arts doctoral candidates SoYoung Kwon (violin), HyunJi Kwon (cello) and KwanSeop Shim (piano) will perform works by Messiaen, Grieg and Dvorak in this beautiful afternoon concert. SoYoung Kwon is currently studying with Peter Zazofsky. She received her master's degree and artist diploma from Yale School of Music and bachelor's degree from Oberlin Conservatory. HyunJi Kwon studied at New England Conservatory and earned a master's degree, graduate diploma and bachelor's degree from Ewha Womans University in Seoul, Korea. KwanSeop Shim studies with Anthony di Bonaventura. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea and a master's degree from Manhattan School of Music.
