An introduction to
principles of garment construction, with emphasis on operating an industrial
sewing machine. Learn how to select and prepare fabric, as well as measure, cut, sew, and press like a pro. Tools and techniques
for hand-sewing and machine-sewing are covered. By the end of the course, you
will produce a sewing-sample book, as well as a complete garment. Classes are twice a week for 8 weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
