Lecture: Eric Rutkow, "The Rise and Fall of Two Great American Trees"

To complement the New Life for Connecticut Trees and Lost Landscapes exhibitions, author and historian Eric Rutkow will examine the stories of two of the nation's greatest trees, the American chestnut and the American elm,  both of which were central to American life and decimated during the twentieth century.
