
Local artist Rita Bond to show artwork at Ethel Walker School, Simsbury, CT, November 28-Dec.15, 2011
Local artist and landscape designer Rita Bond will be showing her artwork at a solo exhibit at the Ethel Walker School Library, Bushy Hill Road, Simsbury, CT from November 28th to December 15th. Known for her colorful art, Ms. Bond will be showing paintings inspired by the beauty of New England. The public is invited to attend a reception to be held on Friday, December 9th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. For visitor’s hours, please contact the school.

Her lively pastels, acrylics and oil paintings have been shown at the University of Connecticut Health Center, Artwalk, Simsbury Public Library, and in many other solo and group shows throughout the region. Her abstract paintings are currently on view at the Venetucci Galleries in Westbrook and Newport, Rhode Island. Rita is also the founder and president of Simsbury Open Studios.
