A musical tribute will be held in the Sanctuary of First Church of Christ, Simsbury at 7:30pm on Tuesday, June 5th to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the most important Pacific Naval battle of World War II. Several local groups will participate in the event. Rev. Jonathan Morgan of First Church will say a prayer and greeting. Cantor Mark Perman of the Farmington Valley Jewish Congregation will sing the National Anthem and other patriotic numbers. The Martocchio Quartet will perform and a local trumpeter will play Taps. The church has front and rear entrances, with a handicapped elevator entrance in the rear. This is guaranteed to be a wonderful evening of celebration.
