NIGHT of 1000 STARS

Join us for Simsbury’s Night of 1,000 Stars, a great community event!  If you have yet to experience this fun night, here’s how it works.  Each “Star” (a local Simsbury celebrity) introduces their piece  why they chose it, and then read a three minute excerpt from their chosen material.

Warren Boyle, a local celebrity himself, will emcee the program and introduce this year’s Stars:  Martin Geitz, Steve Rushin, Tara Willerup, Jeff Blumenthal, Bill Hildebrandt, Eshani Agrawal, Monica Katzen, Rich Curtiss and Karen Sidel.  There will also be music performed by Intonations, Simsbury’s senior center chorus.. Refreshments will be served. The evening is presented by the Friends of the Simsbury Public Library.

Reservations may be made at www.simsburylibrary.info or by calling the Library Reference Desk at (860) 658-7663.  Drop-ins are welcome, space permitting.
