Passover is the next Jewish holiday on the calendar and to help moms learn more about the holiday, the Chai Center is hosting a Seder Survival Guide on Monday, March 26 at 9:15 am at the Farmington Valley Jewish Congregation/JCC Pre-School, 55 Bushy Hill Road, Simsbury. This “Passover 101” hands-on workshop is geared towards women from any religious background who are hosting a Passover Seder or are looking for ideas to make Passover fun for their children. The workshop is being led by Avon resident Laura Kinyon, LSCW. The Seder Survival Guide is a program developed by the Jewish Outreach Institute and locally is co-sponsored by the Chai Center, The Mother’s Circle and the Mandell JCC. The program is FREE but an RSVP is requested by March 23 to Elana MacGilpin at 677-1235 or emacgilpin@jewishhartford.org.
