Have fun while helping to make a difference in your community. Come see the interactive entertainment of Sea Tea Improv who spins your weirdest and wildest thoughts into the kinds of scenes, games, and songs you’ve seen on Whose Line is it Anyway?, Wild n’ Out, and Drew Carey’s Improv-A-Ganza. This group is suitable for families as well as a “friend’s night out”. The troupe of ten players, professionally trained by Hartford Stage Company and the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York, dazzles Hartford and beyond on a regular basis with their witty interpretations of audience suggestions. No two shows are the same since each show is invented entirely on the spot.
The show is presented by Soroptimist International of Farmington Valley, CT (SIFV) and sponsored in part by Scala & Associates, LLC, a development consulting firm for non-profit organizations (www.scala-associates.com). 100% of net proceeds of this fundraiser will benefit SIFV’s projects including support of Grace Academy, a tuition-free, middle school for inner city girls in Hartford; Prudence Crandall Center, the oldest domestic violence program in Connecticut; and grants to women heads of households who need to further their education to support their families.
