Simsbury Bike Sculpture Dedication Ceremony

First Selectman Mary Glassman, Pastor Woody Eddins, of the Simsbury United Methodist Church, and Ann Marie Potter of Bike Walk Simsbury, will dedicate the new Simsbury Bike Sculpture.

Local metal-artist Vicente Garcia constructed this work of art as a tribute to Simsbury's designation as the first Bicycle-Friendly Community in Connecticut.

Fundraising is on-going for the bike sculpture, which will be called "SimsburyBikes!" For donations of $100 or more, your name(s) - or your company name - will be engraved on a plaque that will be placed this summer next to the sculpture.
