The final event in Westminster School’s Friday Night Readings series will take place May 20 and will feature Westminster faculty poets, Lee Zalinger, Mollie Pilling and Michael Cervas, and a student poet, senior Nora Edmonds. The series features readings given by writers and Westminster students on selected Fridays during the academic year.
Pilling, who is the author of a novel, “The Ensign's Wife,” published her first book of poems, “Journeys,” in 2010. Cervas, whose first book of poems, “Inside the Box” came out in 2007, is releasing his second book, entitled “Captivated,” later this spring.
The reading is free and open to the public and will take place from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Gund Reading Room of the Armour Academic Center. The school is located at 995 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury.
