Westminster School to Present “The Drowsy Chaperone”

The Westminster School Dramatic Association will present the musical “The Drowsy Chaperone” Feb. 17-19 in the school’s Werner Centennial Center.

The story begins when a die-hard theater fan plays his favorite cast album on his turntable and the musical then bursts to life in his living room, telling the rambunctious tale of a brazen Broadway starlet trying to find and keep her true love.

The musical within a comedy played on Broadway in 2006 and won the Tony Award for best book and score. Bob Martin and Don McKellar wrote the book, and Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison wrote the music and lyrics.
