Express Your Creativity on the Maker Tree at Simsbury Public Library

Showcase your talents on the Simsbury Public Library Maker Tree. Make an ornament or learn to make one on the 3D printer at the Library.

the Simsbury Public Library has its first Maker Tree this year, and all Simsbury residents of all ages are invited to showcase their talents by contributing a hand designed homemade ornament of any kind to hang on the tree. Come show off your creativity. “Simsbury is a community filled with innovative and highly talented people,” says Library Director Lisa Karim. “Our Maker Tree is another forum where they can display their ingenuity and creativity and highlight the innovation in our town.” Residents are also invited to come in and make 3D ornaments on our 3D printer. Schedule a time to learn to use the 3D printer with Head of Adult Services, Susan Ray by emailing her at sray@libraryconnection.info or by calling 860-658-7663 x2108. The tree will remain up until January 5, 2015.
