Farmington Valley Arts Center Seeks Works By Young Artists
Greater Hartford-area children, Kindergarten through twelfth grade, are asked to submit works.

The Farmington Valley Arts Center (FVAC) in Avon, Connecticut, invites Greater Hartford-area children to submit their finest drawings, paintings, photographs, prints, sculptures and mixed media creations for its upcoming "Aspiring Young Artists" gallery exhibition.
The show, which runs March 3 through 30, gives students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 a unique opportunity to have their work showcased and represented for sale by a professional gallery.

There is a $5 entry fee for each piece submitted, and each participant may enter up to three works. Entry is free with a $60 annual FVAC family membership. A detailed Call for Entries can be viewed and downloaded at the Arts Center's Web site: www.artsfvac.org.
An Opening Reception is scheduled for Saturday, March 3, from 2 until 4 p.m., and prizes will be awarded to People's Choice honorees at the conclusion of the show. For additional information, call 860-678-1867.
