Simsbury Firefighters Pass Apparatus Driving Test
Simsbury Volunteer Fire Company Members Complete Driver Training Course
Firefighters Alex Bailey, Weatogue station, Alison Boyko, Bushy Hill station, Patrick Driscoll, Weatogue station, Steven Petrella, Main station, and Daniel Roth, Firetown station, have completed a training course teaching the skills for the fire apparatus operator test administered by the State of Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles. They all have received their licenses.
The course covered the specialized training needed to obtain a driver’s license for driving fire apparatus, including the pre-trip inspection, obstacle course and over-the-road driving skills.
