Former Simsbury AD Among Inaugural Hall of Fame Inductees

Robert Broderick is among the initial three electees to the Connecticut Association of Athletic Directors' Hall of Fame.

In conjunction with the 32nd annual Athletic Director’s conference, the Connecticut Association of Athletic Directors will host its awards banquet and inaugural Hall of Fame induction on March 24, 2016, at 6 p.m. at the Sheraton Hartford South in Rocky Hill.

CAAD will be inducting its first Hall of Fame class by presenting awards to three former athletic directors who helped create the organization: Robert Broderick of Simsbury High School, Robert Summers of Avon High School and Robert Duncanson of Daniel Hand High School.

  • Distinguished Service - Diane Callis, Bulkeley High School
  • State Award of Merit - David Dennehy, St. Paul High School
  • Meritorious Service Award - Robert Baird, Stratford High School

These recipients have made numerous contributions to athletics in the state of Connecticut and are well deserving of these awards. Anyone is welcomed to pay tribute to these outstanding honorees.
