Four Simsbury Volunteer Fire Company Members Complete Driver Training Course

Engineers Chris Hwang and Chris Wilcox of Bushy Hill station and Firefighters Peter Hanley, Tariffville station and Mark Zenick, Main station, have completed a training course teaching the skills for the fire apparatus operator test administered by the State of Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles. They all have received their licenses. 

The course covered the specialized training needed to obtain a driver's license for driving fire apparatus, including the pre-trip inspection, obstacle course and over-the-road driving skills.
