Free Practice Combo SAT/ACT Test @ Simsbury Public Library

Attention current Sophomores and Juniors! To give students a leg up in today’s highly competitive college admissions market, Simsbury Library is partnering with Kaplan Test Prep, the nation’s oldest and largest provider of test preparation and admissions services, to offer a free practice ACT/SAT Combo test for area high school students.

Students will have the opportunity to take a practice test, which combines elements from the SAT and ACT. The test is designed to show students which exam they have a greater aptitude for so that they can form a preparation strategy. It is conducted by professional proctors under realistic testing conditions.

In addition to taking the free practice test under timed conditions that simulate the real testing environment, students will receive feedback on their performance.

This includes an analysis of their strengths and weaknesses by question type and level of difficulty and assists them in adjusting their preparation accordingly. Students can expect a call within two weeks of the test from a specialist who can send them an e-copy of their score and explain the various metrics in the report.
