Full Steam Ahead for the Simsbury Crew Team
Springing into their boats after a Winter off the water
This week the schools have been closed, with students relaxing and enjoying Spring Break, before they return for the final leg of the school year. For the hardworking and determined Simsbury crew, this week has had them hard at work training, both on land and on the water, in preparation for the first regatta of the season, this Saturday.
On Saturday, April 15, the Simsbury Crew will be traveling to Lake Quinsigamond in Massachusetts, to compete in the Tabor Invitational Regatta.
They will be returning to Lake Quinsigamond twice more this season to compete in the Exeter Invitational (4/22) and the Q-Cup (4/29).

They will also be competing in two regattas at Lake Waramaug for the Kent Invitational (5/13) and Connecticut Public Schools Rowing Championships (5/21). The novices rowers will also be competing in two of their own Novice Regattas. The first will be held in Middletown (5/14) and the second at the Farmington Boathouse (5/31).
