Join Gifts of Love at the May 3rdWalk Against Hunger

Gifts of Love will participate in the Annual Foodshare Walk Against Hunger on May 3, 2015. The event is Gifts of Love’s first major fundraiser for 2015. This year, we are looking to create many Farmington Valley teams to help all of us give back to the local community. Gifts of Love is a Foodshare partner agency so, unlike other walks, up to $.75 of every dollar raised actually comes back to the Farmington Valley. Many are surprised to realize that approximately 20% of the Gifts of Love clients come from the Farmington Valley. Last year, Gifts of Love provided over 25,000 pounds of food, $21,000 worth of household items, and 562 bags of clothing to these residents in the valley.
