"Grease" is directed by David Addis, a longtime professional in the industry.

This is his third production with Simsbury Summer Theater, but his experience traces back to his days as a student at Simsbury High School.

He is joined by music director Diana Lawler; choreographer Rachel Armstrong; assistant choreographer Travis Reid; and Michelle Taylor, costumer.

This production of Grease is performed by 45 student players, with an additional 12 students on the tech crew roster, making it the largest enrollment of participation for the summer program in recent history.

"This year’s production brings 1959 to life, following the antics of the greaser Burger Palace Boys and the sassy Pink Ladies," wrote the theater program in an announcement.
