On Saturday, April 16, kick off your Saturday morning bright and early with the Simsbury Volunteer Fire Company at its Annual Fisherman's Breakfast, 4:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.  The breakfast begins before dawn for fishermen, but you can join them anytime before 10 a.m. for a hearty breakfast of pancakes, eggs, bacon and home fries.  Meet your friends for breakfast at the Firefighter's Clubhouse, 30 Town Forest Road, West Simsbury. Prices are adults $8, children 12 and under $6. Come rain or shine!

S.P.A.R.K.&nbsp;stands for&nbsp;Science. Play. Action. Research. Knowledge,&nbsp;and that’s exactly what the morning is all about. Students will dive into interactive labs, ask big questions, and explore how science connects to the world around them.
Throughout the morning, students will rotate through all three engaging sessions:
Snack Science: Cracking the Code of Carbs, Fats &amp; Proteins
Students will test everyday foods to uncover the building blocks of life - carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins.
From Cabbage to Chemistry: A Color-Changing Exploration of pH
Using red cabbage as a natural indicator, students will experiment with acids and bases and watch chemistry come alive in vibrant color.
Air Apparent: The Invisible Force All Around Us
Through hands-on experiments, students will explore the properties of air—and discover just how powerful something invisible can be.

This fun-filled day brings together local supporters for 18 holes of golf, contests, raffles, auctions, and more—all to benefit families in need across the Greater Hartford area.
Proceeds from the tournament help Gifts of Love provide food, clothing, and essential support to hundreds of local families each week, including distributing over 375 backpacks filled with nutritious, kid-friendly meals.
