It's Looking A Lot Like Thanksgiving

Gifts of Love and Community Farm of Simsbury

This is a busy time at Gifts of Love as we hope to distribute over 350 turkey dinners to our clients. Although our new office space is larger than the old, we use every spare foot of space to prepare the bags of food. Countless volunteers stuff and distribute the bags, pick up food and unpack the truck.

Although we are well on our way to reaching our goal, we can still use your help. Please consider donating to our programs this fall and helping a family struggling to make ends meet.

We are so thankful for our donors, volunteers and friends that enable us to provide so much for some many. Click Here to Donate

Mark your calendar for Giving Tuesday, December 2, one week from today!

You’ve heard of Black Friday & Cyber Monday, but are you familiar with Giving Tuesday? It’s a global day to promote philanthropy and celebrate donors. Please make Gifts of Love and Community Farm of Simsbury one of your giving priorities. As a result of supporters like you, we are able to help 350 working families each month with food, clothing, household items, furniture and energy assistance. In addition, we provide nearly 200 backpacks each Friday filled with food for the weekend for students in Avon, Simsbury, Farmington, West Hartford and Canton who may otherwise not have food over the weekend.

During this holiday season, we are grateful for the many friends of Gifts of Love and Community Farm of Simsbury. Your contribution is at the heart of Gifts of Love’s core belief - Families Helping Families.
