Lacrosse a Family Affair in Simsbury

Six sets of brothers - seven if you count the coaches - help to make up the Simsbury High School boys lacrosse team.

Riley and Hunter Chapman, Jake and Zach Magaw, Zach and Ben Levin, Sam and Jordan Briggs, Keith and Sean Penney, and Demitri and Alex George play and Brian and Craig Wilson are assistant coaches.

The Levins are twins and the Briggs brothers are the only ones who don’t play the same position as each other.

The team has a family feel - even for those players who don’t have a brother on the team - and that has helped with team chemistry.

The Trojans went 13-3 on the season and are the No. 1 seed in the Class L tournament. They will host No. 16 Trumbull (10-7) on Wednesday.
