The law firm of Hassett & George, P.C. has hired Jared Alfin as an Associate Attorney in its Business and Corporate Law department, which is focused on representing and counseling business clients in both litigation matters and transactional matters.
Jared has practiced law for eight years, and has experience counseling clients on a range of issues involving commercial contract disputes, unfair trade practices, construction/home improvement disputes, shareholder/members rights and other aspects of litigation practice. Jared also counsels and assists clients in forming/dissolving business entities, partnerships disputes, real estate transactions and start-up business issues, including social media based.

Since 2008, Jared has lived in downtown Hartford and is an active member in the Hartford community. He is currently a member of the Connecticut Bar Association - Young Lawyers Section, Construction Law Section, Business Torts Committee, Creditors' Rights Committee and a member of Hartford Young Professionals & Entrepreneurs – Social Events Committee.
