LETTER: Eric Wellman Can Continue Doing a Great Job For Simsbury
Opinions expressed are those of the letter writer and do not necessarily reflect the views of Patch Media. Opposing viewpoints are welcomed.

I strongly encourage all my fellow Simsbury residents to vote to re-elect Eric Wellman as our First Selectman this November 5. During his first term, Eric has balanced business development with protection of our natural resources, facilitated bipartisan agreement on fiscally responsible budgets, guided Simsbury’s transition to a town manager form of government, addressed the risk of droughts with a water shortage ordinance and much more.
Those of us who have gotten to know Eric are confident that he'll continue to be just as energetic, fair, and responsible in his next term as he continues to focus on smart spending and long term, sustainable development. We’re sure he’ll continue listening to all voices in our community as he guides Simsbury’s government forward.
Please join us in assuring that Eric can continue doing a great job for Simsbury.
