LETTER: Supporting Eric Wellman As Simsbury First Selectman
Opinions expressed are those of the letter writer and do not necessarily reflect the views of Patch Media. Opposing viewpoints are welcomed.

I’ve decided to vote for Eric Wellman in the upcoming election for First Selectman of Simsbury. Eric deserves to be reelected.
Eric’s experience as a business consultant is part of the reason he has been so effective in office. He has applied his expertise in promoting efficiencies to town government, working collaboratively with all sides and seeking imaginative solutions to town problems. Eric is focused on policy rather than partisan politics.
I have had occasion to approach him with an idea for a new program that will benefit the citizens of Simsbury. He listened, did some research and ended up supporting the idea while providing needed advice. He also facilitated our making contact with those that will be needed to move the idea forward. What impresses me the most is his diligence. Eric never fails to follow through with promises made and to stay in touch.
